Time to light up the flip!

We've started updating the light fixtures at the flip! In many cases adding fixtures to rooms that didn't even have light before! The fixtures are already making a huge difference to brighten the space!

I can't say it was an easy task though! Each fixture came with its own set of issues! Old wiring and mismatched parts added to the struggle! We even had a crossed wire issue! Suddenly the dining room light stopped working and the switch started working a different light fixture altogether! That was freaky! But we got it all sorted in the end!

It was worth it because we ended up with some great looking fixtures!

Dining room fixtures were a huge change! The previous fixture was just an old ceiling fan. This globe chandelier is such a modern update that will add a lot to the style of the room!

Above the buffet was a little vintage box light, I LOVED the light but it didn't fit in with the rest of the house and new fixtures, so I am going to save that beauty for another project! Instead, I put in this hanging pendant that mirrors the style of some of the other fixtures in the house.

In the front entry was just a basic ceiling fan without any form of light source! It wasn't doing this space justice. This great vintage style fixture with the Edison Bulb suits the space much better and adds so much more light!

The living room didn't have a light fixture either! Adding this craftsman style fixture add so much to the space!

Finally the bedrooms downstairs received simple drum semi-flush fixtures!
